191. the bride

the bride, originally uploaded by sulalala.

My sister got married today! The wedding could not have been more perfect. There were 82 guests in total and the clouds stayed over the outdoor ceremony just long enough to keep us from all getting scorched by the desert sun. Tons of dancing and I didn't mess up my toast (too much, anyway). And just look at how beautiful my sister is.

189. rockin it..

in Sedona! This is one of the most scenic, beautiful places I have ever been. And, it's only a 7.5 hour drive from home (Okay, that's kind of long)! My sister and Josh could not have picked a better place to have their wedding. This is the view from our resort at Red Agave.

187. taco tuesday

I like food. Food is good. I was feeling down in the dumps today and Alex came to the rescue! These are homemade tacos (homemade guacamole, too!). Feeling a lot better already.

178. unlucky weekend

unlucky weekend, originally uploaded by sulalala.

My friends and I have been going NUTS over the World Cup. I can't believe how much fun this month has been. Of course, I have been rooting for the US and South Korea. However, I also have to support my friends' teams: England, Mexico, Brasil, Japan (and the many others in which they support).

This weekend, however, was a disappointment all around. It was the start of the knockout round and both of my teams lost on Saturday. Waaah-waahh... I possibly shouldn't support any more teams because England and Mexico both lost today, too. Here is my friend Albina (an avid England supporter) getting tears painted in red and white by Marco (a Mexico supporter).

122. moo

moo, originally uploaded by sulalala.

I came to the UK with an open mind. I had no idea what to expect really. I came to Cornwall with even less expectations but have been blown away. I can't believe how green everything is in this country (outside the cities of course). This cow came to greet us as we walk to the Lizard point on the east side of the peninsula. How I'd love to live in that house (or at least have it as a summer home).
